Your holiday begins with a short and comfortable drive to the charming coastal town of Negombo, often referred to as "Little Rome" due to its centuries-old Catholic heritage and colonial influence. After breakfast, depart towards Sri Lanka's famous Cultural Triangle.

Your first stop is the renowned Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, established in 1975 to rescue and care for orphaned and injured elephants. Today, it is one of the world's largest elephant care facilities and provides visitors with the opportunity to observe these magnificent animals during feeding times and as they make their daily walk to the nearby river for bathing.

Continue through picturesque villages, lush coconut plantations, and rural landscapes before arriving in Sigiriya.

In the afternoon, conquer the legendary Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress, Sri Lanka's most iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rising nearly 200 metres above the surrounding plains, this spectacular rock fortress was built by King Kashyapa during the 5th century.

Following breakfast, visit the magnificent Dambulla Royal Cave Temple, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dating back more than 2,000 years, this remarkable monastery consists of five caves housing over 150 Buddha statues alongside magnificent murals covering more than 2,000 square metres of cave walls and ceilings.

Continue towards Kandy with a visit to a traditional Spice Garden in Matale, where you'll discover Sri Lanka's world-famous spices including cinnamon, cardamom, pepper, cloves, nutmeg, and vanilla. Learn about their culinary and Ayurvedic uses while enjoying a complimentary local lunch.

Arrive in Kandy, Sri Lanka's last royal capital.

Visit the sacred Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of Buddhism's most revered pilgrimage sites, believed to house a tooth relic of Lord Buddha. Later, enjoy a leisurely walk around the tranquil Kandy Lake, created by the last Sinhalese King in 1807, before ending the day with a colourful Traditional Kandyan Cultural Dance Performance, featuring spectacular drumming, graceful dancing, and thrilling fire-walking displays.

Begin the day with a visit to the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya, home to over 4,000 species of tropical plants, giant bamboo, towering palms, orchids, medicinal plants, and enormous trees planted by world leaders.

Continue into Sri Lanka's spectacular hill country, where winding mountain roads reveal endless tea plantations, cascading waterfalls, and mist-covered valleys.

Visit a working Tea Factory, where you'll learn the fascinating journey from freshly plucked tea leaves to the world-famous Ceylon Tea. Enjoy a freshly brewed cup while overlooking the lush plantations.

Arrive in the charming colonial town of Nuwara Eliya, known as Little England.

Visit Gregory Lake, surrounded by cool mountain scenery, and stop at the famous Pink Post Office, one of Sri Lanka's most photographed colonial landmarks.

Start early for an unforgettable visit to Horton Plains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located over 2,000 metres above sea level. Enjoy a scenic walk through cloud forests and grasslands to the famous World's End, where dramatic cliffs plunge nearly 900 metres into the valley below. Continue to the beautiful Baker's Falls, surrounded by lush montane forest.

Later travel towards Ella.

Guests may enjoy an Optional Scenic Train Ride from Bandarawela to Ella (USD 15 per person), considered one of the world's most beautiful railway journeys, passing tea estates, mountain tunnels, waterfalls, and picturesque villages.

Upon arrival in Colombo, enjoy a brief city tour covering Independence Square, Gangaramaya Temple, Galle Face Green, Colombo Fort, Pettah Market, the Old Parliament, and the modern Port City development.
