Day 01 – Arrival
Arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you will be assisted by a representative of VINTAGE AFRICA. After the pre-safari brief, you will meet your tour guide. Lunch at the Aberdare Country Club which lies at the foothills of the Aberdare Mountain Range. Transfer to The Ark Set – The Ark is a rustic dwelling overlooking a watering hole that teems with wildlife. Built up to resemble Noah’s Ark, The Ark consists of four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to give you an idyllic game viewing experience from the comfort of your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at The Ark or similar.
Day 02 – Lake Nakuru National Park
Head over to Lake Nakuru National Park after the breakfast. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drive at the Lake Nakuru National Park- Crowned as one of the best national parks in Kenya, Lake Nakuru is home to exotic wildlife including lions, leopards, black as well as white rhinos, hippos and giraffes. The lake that attracts swarms of feeding flamingos is a sight to behold. Apart from its resident mammal population, the park is a feeding ground to many avian species such as pelicans, Egyptian vultures and little egrets. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar (L-DBB).
Day 03 – Masai Mara
Leave for the Masai Mara after breakfast. (Via Mau Narok and down the escarpment of Narok town. Afternoon game drive at the Masai Mara – The Masara Mara National Park is the wildest African dream: endless grass plains dotted with patches of acacia where herds and herds of zebras and wildebeests roam freely. While the Masai Mara is home to the Big Five, the park is also renowned for the Great Wildebeest Migration which occurs from October to November each year. This Mara River crossing is surely one of the utopian spectacles of nature. Dinner and overnight stay at the Keekorok lodge, Mara Sentrim Camp or similar (L-DBB).
Day 04 – Masai Mara
Morning and afternoon game drives. (An early morning hot air balloon ride with a champagne breakfast can be arranged at an extra cost.) Enjoy all meals at the lodge. Overnight stay at the Keekorok lodge , Mara Sentrim Camp or similar (L-DBB).
Day 05 – Lake Naivasha
Drive to the Lake Naivasha Country Club after breakfast. Check-in to the lodge and enjoy your lunch. Explore Lake Naivasha – The highest lake (at 1884m above sea level) of the Rift Valley, Lake Naivasha extends as far as the eye could see. This intriguing terrain offers a surreal experience of coming face to face with the likes of hippos, giraffes, and zebras. Optional activities in the afternoon- Enjoying a boat ride and visiting the Crescent Island at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lake Naivasha country club or similar (L-DBB)
Day 06 – Amboseli National Park
Drive to the Amboseli National Park after breakfast. After enjoying a late lunch, go on an evening game drive- Chase the thrill on safari and get up close and personal with the likes of elephants, wildebeests, zebras, cheetahs, and hyenas. In the evening, massive herds of African tusker’s saunter away the time and probably you won’t think of going back to the lodge as watching these gentle giants is almost hypnotic. If luck is on your side, you might even catch a glimpse of a majestic lion waking through the sunrise, creating a picture-perfect moment. Drink in the surreal view of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro with its striking Uhuru Peak touching the blue skies. Dinner and overnight stay at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge , Amboseli Sentrim Camp or similar (L-DBB)
Day 07 – Amboseli National Park
Full day spent at the Amboseli National Park- with morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight stay at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge , Amboseli Sentrim Camp or similar (L-DBB)
Day 08 – Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge. Head over for Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. You will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight. Your onward flight will be re-confirmed by a representative of VINTAGE AFRICA and you will be assisted at check-in.
