Day 01 – Arrival

“Haere Mai”, Welcome to New Zealand.
Arrival at Christchurch.
Upon completion of Custom formalities, meet by our representative and proceed for the City Sightseeing in Christchurch.
The “Garden city” of Christchurch, grew out of a planned Anglican settlement in the 1850’s. Formal gardens, beautiful urban parks, a fine gothic cathedral and Victorian architecture further promote the English atmosphere of the city. The economic importance of the region concentrates on agriculture and related industries from the surrounding fertile Canterbury Plains. Check-in at your hotel. Lunch at a local restaurant. Dinner at Little India. Transfer to your hotel after dinner.

DAY 2 – CHRISTCHURCH / GREYMOUTH / FRANZ JOSEF

Breakfast at hotel. You will be picked up from your hotel by Christchurch Touring Company and transfer to Christchurch Railway station. Upon arrival at Christchurch Railway Station, please report to your Tranz Alpine Train. Depart for Greymouth by Tranz Alpine Train. Lunch onboard the train.
Upon arrival at Greymouth / or Arthur’s Pass, you will be picked up by our representative and transfer to Franz Josef. Upon arrival at Franz Josef, you will be dropped off at your hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant
Enjoy Glacier Hot Pools – Public Pools (Please carry your swimsuits). Overnight at hotel

DAY 3 – FRANZ JOSEF / WANAKA

Breakfast at hotel. [Breakfast Restaurant opens from 0630 – 1000 hrs]
You will be picked up from your hotel by our representative for your trip to Wanaka.
En route we visit Lake Matheson, otherwise known as “Mirror Lakes” where on a clear day it is possible to
see the reflection of New Zealand’s highest mountain Mt Cook (3754m/12,316ft). The walking possibilities
are endless today around Haast and Haast Pass and we can do one of or several walks, some of which
Feature spectacular waterfalls and deep blue colored pools where it is possible to see trout swimming.
Upon arrival at Wanaka, you will be dropped off at your hotel. Lunch & Dinner at local restaurants.

DAY 4 – WANAKA / ARROWTOWN / TE ANAU

Breakfast at hotel. You will be picked from your hotel by our representative for your trip to Te Anau via Wanaka. Visit Stuart Landsborough’s Puzzling World. With a mix of bizarre buildings, rooms of illusion and the world-famous Great Maze this attraction if designed to baffle your brain and challenger your perceptions of reality.
Continue to The Crown Range, New Zealand’s highest highway to Arrowtown which was one of New Zealand’s most important towns in the gold rush to Central Otago in the 1860’s. Drive a further 2 hours to Te Anau situated on the shores of New Zealand’s 2nd largest lake and the gateway to Fiordland National Park.

Upon arrival at Te Anau, you will be dropped off at your hotel. Lunch & Dinner at local restaurants.

Visit Te Anau Glowworm Caves take a tour by boat across Lake Te Anau to the Glowworm Caves to view the shimmering light of thousands of luminous Glowworms in a 12,000 year old grotto.
Overnight at hotel

DAY 5 – TE ANAU / MILFORD SOUND / QUEENSTOWN

Breakfast at hotel. (Please dress warm clothes)

You will be picked up from your hotel by by our representative for your Full Day Tour to Milford Sound.
Located within the World Heritage Fiordland National Park, Milford Sound region is rich with dense rainforest, glaciated valleys and waterfalls cascading from rugged mountain peaks. Travel through the Southern Alps via the Homer Tunnel, a 1.2km man-mad tunnel drilled through a solid mountain of rock.

Upon arrival at Milford Sound, check in at Real Journeys Counter at Visitor Centre for your cruise.

Board your Milford Sound Scenic Cruise (1 hour 40 minutes) for a spectacular cruise in New Zealand’s
most famous waterway to explore the wonder of this majestic fiord. See Mitre
Peak, one of the highest mountains in the world to rise directly from the ocean floor. View the
Stirling and Bowen falls as your cruise takes you out of the mouth of Milford Sound to the
open Tasman Sea. While on the Milford Sound Cruise there will be time to relax, spot the
seals and watch out for dolphins surfing the bow wave of the boat as you return up to the Wharf.
Lunch onboard the cruise. After cruise, re-board your private charter vehicle to further enjoy the scenery as your transfer to Queenstown. Upon arrival at Queenstown, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
Dinner at Skyline Gondola. You will be picked up by Christchurch Touring Company and return back to your hotel.

DAY 6 – QUEENSTOWN / MT COOK / CHRISTCHURCH

Breakfast served at hotel. You will be picked up from your hotel by our representative for your trip to Christchurch via Mt Cook. Travel north to Christchurch via the Lindis Pass to reach Mount Cook around lunchtime. Time is available to take an OPTIONAL scenic flight (own expenses, weather permitting) for
an overview of Mount Cook Icefalls, snowfields and glaciers. Continue your journey through LakeTekapo where you can view the solitary Church of the Good Shepherd and take in the sights of the spectacular Southern Alps, then travel down the Burke’s Pass and across the Canterbury Plains to reach Christchurch.
Lunch own arrangement. Upon arrival at Christchurch, you will be dropped off at your hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant. Transfer to your hotel

DAY 7 – DEPART CHRISTCHURCH

Breakfast at hotel. You will be picked up from your hotel by our representative and proceed City Sightseeing in Christchurch. Visit “The Sign of the Kiwi”, the most panoramic of Christchurch’s viewpoints, a stroll in the botanic gardens and drive around the bays of Christchurch taking in Lyttelton which was the gateway for many of Christchurch and the Canterbury region’s first settlers.

Glide along the tranquil Avon River in Christchurch, as a skilled punter in traditional Edwardian attire
propels you slowly along the water. Continue your journey with a visit to Mona Vale, one of Christchurch’s
most spectacular gardens. Take a leisurely stroll around the park and see why Christchurch is known as
“the Garden City”.

Lunch & Dinner at local restaurants.

Arrive at Christchurch Airport for your flight back home
